Sevilla has become a great host of European competitions in the 21st century and this has meant that it has already crossed paths on more than one occasion with many great European football players, such as Manchester United.

The record in official matches so far is favorable to Sevilla. In fact, Manchester United has yet to beat the Nervión team in European competition. The first time they met they drew at Sánchez-Pizjuán and won in the second leg at Old Trafford in the Champions League round of 16 in 2017-18 1-2 with a memorable double by Ben Yedder.

Two years later they crossed paths again and Sevilla won the single-match semifinal of the Europa League in 2020 played in Cologne and which ended up being their sixth title in the tournament.

The Sevilla team came back from Bruno Guimaraes' initial goal from a penalty thanks to goals from Suso and De Jong but also to the saves from Bono, who had an unforgettable performance under the sticks.

The results are not positive

Curiously, the Red Devils' only victory against Sevilla to date was in a friendly at Old Trafford in August 2006 in which they won 3-0, although the people from Seville prevailed in a second unofficial duel in 2013, also at Old Trafford 1-3 in a match paying tribute to Rio Ferdinand.
