While the new additions have been tied down to long-term contacts. A number of already existing team members like Marcus Rashford, Diogo Dalot, and Luke Shaw were gradually running down their contracts till the club triggered the one-year contract extension in their contracts.
The club is now trying to offer new long-term contracts to these three key players as they all have just 18 months left on their existing deals. Ten Hag has constantly stated his desire for the club to tie them down to new deals as they are the untouchables within his team.
According to the latest reports, Manchester United is still in talks with Marcus Rashford over a new deal with both parties miles apart in a possible agreement. The England International is reportedly still of interest to PSG who could offer him a huge payday compared to the suspected salary limitations that Man United is offering him.
