It's no longer just West Ham, what Real Madrid are reportedly paying United for Maguire

Harry Maguire has been in the spotlight in recent weeks as his transfer to West Ham has yet to be completed, and Manchester United have been approached with other proposals to move the defender in the remaining two weeks of the transfer window. 

The Irons have made an offer of £30 million for the Briton, so it was expected that the Red Devils would immediately transfer Maguire, however, the coach has not wanted to let the defender go because he has not yet prepared his replacement, coupled with the discomfort that Lisandro Martinez presented during the game against Wolves, so the transfer has stalled a bit with West Ham waiting for further updates. 

This indecision on United's part has not gone down well with David Moyes who had already agreed personal terms with the player, but with the London club hoping to withdraw their offer to look for new alternatives in defence, Harry Maguire had commented that, although it was the best option to leave Old Trafford, the Irons were not an option to his liking. 

However, in recent news, the Red Devils still have a chance of selling the defender, as Real Madrid have shown an interest in the Englishman due to the fact that one of their defenders, Eder Militao in the Spanish club's last game was out with an ACL injury and is expected to miss around 6-8 months, so Maguire comes in as an option to replace him.

This is the second time in a period of a week, that Real Madrid have shown interest in Manchester United players, the first time was David de Gea also due to Thibaut Courtois' injury, now the Spanish side are in search of a defender and Harry Maguire has been mentioned as a new option, so they are willing to pay a price of between £28-32 million to make the transfer a reality, so it is expected that during these days more updates on the subject will continue to come out.
