Following the sacking of Loius Van Gaal in 2016, Jose Mourinho was appointed as the new Manchester United boss on a three-year deal with the option of a fourth. He took them to close distance of the Premier League title in the 2017/18 season with a second-place finish as City was crowned champions.

It would have been an indescribable moment for the Special One to win the title over his fierce rival Pep Guardiola who is Manchester City's manager. The Premier League might just make it happen as they accused the noisy neighbors of breaching 100 financial rules between 2009 and 2018.

Although Mourino has yet to give remarks on the current sanction to Man City, it will certainly upset him that they lost the title to their rivals as while their cheating gets exposed.
