Manchester United headed into this season with enough firepower to help them hit their season targets and objectives under Ten Hag. The club at the start of the season still had last season's top goalscorer, Cristiano Ronaldo, on their books.

But sadly United and Ronaldo parted ways just days after the club season was halted for the duration of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The decision to let Ronaldo go sent United into the transfer market for a new attacker to join their team.

WHAT IS THE GOOD NEWS?

While Manchester United revels in the victory of the game, new development surfaces regarding the team's exploit in the transfer market. According to reports, Manchester United is ready to go for Goncalo Ramos of Benfica after missing out on Cody Gakpo, who had opted to join Liverpool. Ramos most recently was part of Portugal's World Cup team and bagged a hat trick on his debut at the Mundial.
