Manchester United have had a difficult time in recent years, despite some trophies won, the club has not won the Premier League in almost 10 years and the Champions League since 2008; for that reason a change was needed and it seems to be happening.

Since the arrival of Erik Ten Hag at Old Trafford, many things have changed, the manager came with a completely different mentality than other managers, when he took the job he would have been clear that the club would have to go through a complete overhaul, so he began to remove players that he thought would not have a positive contribution to the team, even if they were legends, Ten Hag was not tempted to let them go.

As we already know, the Red Devils only managed to win the Carabao Cup, but the team was able to show a different vision and style, something that allowed them to finish third in the overall table and get a direct pass to the Champions League, now that he has more time to put the team together, the coach has made moves that could be of great help for the aspirations of this new season.

In addition to the signings he has made and those he plans to make soon, Erik Ten Hag has been known for giving opportunities to young players, something that not many coaches in England do, as Guardiola has always had high-level signings that give him a certain advantage over others, but now that Ten Hag has shown his ability it would be expected that he will win as many titles as possible.

During pre-season, the manager has made use of his academy players, during the three games played, the team has looked pretty good and the young players have been comfortable with Ten Hag's style of play, which is why two academy players, Dan Gore and Rhys Bennett, have signed a new contract that will allow them to continue their progress with Manchester United.
