Long term contract incoming and he is ready to sign it

It's all good news at Manchester United, as they continue to pick up pace in the Premier League as we continue down to the World Cup start. The current run of form has seen them crawl their way to fifth place on the league table after 12 matches. Ten Hag's side has gone on to keep five clean sheets this season while they have also been dangerous on the attack. 

Their led attack under Ten Hag has been Marcus Rashford, who was close to leaving for PSG last summer before the United board publicly denounced rumors of his exit. Ten Hag has then gone on to back him as his number nine ahead of club Icon Cristiano Ronaldo who was United's leading goal scorer across all competitions.

Rashford's turnaround and rise to form under Ten Hag have not gone unnoticed, as fans chant his name week after week, while his manager and teammate shower him with praises, including Ronaldo, his idol. His performance has now triggered United's decision to offer him a new long-term contract to shut down and talks of a possible exit next summer. 

The reports of a new long-term contract have lit up more excitement amongst the fans as they believe the club is making the right decision. His rise to such good form is down to Erik Ten Hag's adamant belief that he is the right man to lead United's attack much to the displeasure of Ronaldo, who had as a result been subject to substitute appearances until in recent weeks.

SHOULD RASHFORD STAY AT UNITED OR MOVE IN THE SUMMER?

A United fan can't agree with the possibility of Rashford leaving, especially with the quality he possesses and the caliber of players he has as teammates. Also, Ten Hag will not want to lose the player who has been his lead attack so far this season and Rashford is said to be ready to sign a new deal.
