Magnificent participation by Antony and a great play by Dalot give United the victory

Dalot scores and thus ends the game. Brilliant by Antony to create it and neatly finished by Dalot. That goal was coming. This has probably been Antony's best game since he signed and that assist was outstanding. A commanding performance and Ten Hag will be delighted.

United have been relentless in the last five minutes, but they didn't get the goal and that in itself is a small victory for Forest. Some of his fans are criticizing Steve Cooper, especially for the non-existent defense on set pieces.

This is the only ground where United have won by a margin of two goals or more. They should be back 3-0 up again, but this is another remake. United fans know the movie and hope there isn't another twist like the one against Sevilla. Pellistri, Jurado and Iqbal are warming up, but Ten Hag has no obvious intention of making any changes.

David De Gea overcame an early injury to continue. He barely had a save to make, but he took a few hits from crosses. Aaron Wan Bissaka firm on the right side and involved in the last third without obviously contributing to the attacks. Another good outing. Victor Lindeloff has been curiously sidelined since the season resumed and has enjoyed a reliable return to the team. He barely kicked the Forest forwards.

Maguire's been a walking disaster

He thinks back to Leicester last season and was taken aback by the crowd and the same is happening here. It's been a pretty even contest as United started with the intention of eliminating Forest. Forest are thriving amidst the chaotic nature of the game. United struggle to maintain control. It says a lot about his start that Eriksen, until being a substitute, has excelled to the fullest.
