Maguire and other United stars make special list as Mundial ends

The 2022 FIFA World Cup is arguably the best the world has ever seen or experienced with endless talking points and evergreen moments that capture the heart of fans around the world including those at Manchester United.

Harry Maguire, Marcus Rashford, and several other united first-team stars made it to the Mundial after receiving their invitation to partake in it from their national teams. The club received 14 invitations for their players, the second highest amongst England clubs.

The invited Manchester United stars continued their fine club form at the tournament, leading their teams as far as possible in the tournament. The likes of Bruno Fernandes were the beating heart of his country's push in the Mundial.

Marcus Rashford was also great at the Mundial along with a few of his other United teammates till their exit from the competition.  But sadly not everyone could make the team of the tournament list. According to the latest reports; Harry Maguire, Bruno Fernandes, and Casemiro all made Sofacore's World Cup Team of the Tournament. The World Cup was won by Argentina via penalties.
