The Red Devils are back in action at Old Trafford but there's still so much chaos for their rivals.

The Red Devils are getting ready for their Premier League return later tonight against visiting Leeds United at Old Trafford. Manchester United is facing tonight's opponent for the first time this season with a reverse fixture in the next few days.

Last season Manchester United comfortably did the double over their visitors with a 5-1 win at Old Trafford and a 4-2 at Elland Road. Bruno Fernandes was the key factor in the victories with four goals across the two fixtures. He scored a hattrick at Old Trafford and added another in their away visit.

This season the Red Devils will be hoping to do another set of doubles when they face off against the managerless Leeds United. The visitors recently sacked their manager Jesse Marsh following the club's poor run of form in the league as they sit outside the relegation spot on goal difference.

Heading into this fixture Erik Ten Hag's Manchester United is the better team in form with three wins in their last five league matches against AFC Bournemouth, Manchester City, and Crystal Palace. As for Leeds United their last league win was in November against AFC Bournemouth in a 4-3 encounter.

What is the latest about City's sanction?

According to the newest updates, many Premier League clubs want Manchester City expelled from the Premier League if they are found guilty of breaking the league's Financial Fair Play rules over nine years. The EPL recently charged the Citizen with about 100 breaches of FFP rules between 2009 to 2018 and the allegations are being addressed.
