The month of September closes with Manchester United's participation, as the following week is the last FIFA week before Qatar 2022, with four matches in which they won two Premier League and one Europa League, and one defeat in the international competition.
In August, when the season started, four matches were played, all in the Premier League format, starting with two defeats and ending with victories. Now in the month of October due to postponements of matches they will play more than in these two months combined.
