Manchester United has been able to make some sales during this last week, which has meant an increase in the budget which will allow the club to make some signings that they have in mind to strengthen specific positions, so Ten Hag would already be looking for those players who can fit into their system of play to negotiate with them in these remaining two weeks of the transfer market.

One of the most talked about positions has been the goalkeeper, since the departure of David de Gea, has been one of the main points that all the media have been analysing, because despite signing André Onana, who has made an impressive performance both in the pre-season games and in the Premier League debut, there is still the question of who will be his understudy.

One of the options to cover that position was Matej Kovar, who before the arrival of the Cameroonian goalkeeper, had shone in the pre-season games he was able to play, however, the coach decided not to continue calling him up as he already had clubs interested in him, so after long negotiations, Bayern Leverkusen made his arrival official for £9 million, a figure that could help him find a new replacement.

Meanwhile, Tom Heaton and Dean Henderson are still waiting for their future within the squad to be clarified, as both have suffered injuries recently that have kept them away from the pitch and from maintaining regularity with the club, in addition to that Ten Hag considers that they do not adapt to his system of play, which is why he continues to analyse the possibilities that are on the market.

Goalkeeping alternatives

Manchester United are looking for new signings in the positions that Ten Hag would have mentioned that need to be reinforced, the goal is one of them, so the board is looking for alternatives that the club can afford with the budget they have at the moment; Altay Bayindir is one of the options that the club has to sign, as Fernerbahce is asking less than 10 million euros for him, so that the red devils could submit an offer.
