The Red Devils' stars reunited to help Manchester United avert a crisis in a goal feast at Old Trafford.

At the blast of the final whistle, there was a wearying look of frustration on the faces of Manchester United players as they ended their latest game in a draw. A 2-2 scoreline seemed fair to the neutrals but it is the least disappointing result from the famous red and black men of Manchester.

David De Gea certainly spoke in more than one language in the dressing room to his teammates after conceding a goal within the first minutes of the game. The referee had hard blown the whistle before Leeds United ripped apart De Gea's goal with an outside shot to take the lead.

Then United tried to muster courage and undo the early setback as they pressed Leeds United into the game, creating chances upon chances but were denied. Garnacho's start did not go as planned for Ten Hag as he missed numerous chances in the first half along with his captain of the night, Bruno Fernandes. It was a crushing feeling when the scoreline at half remained 1 nil in favor of the visitors.

Erik Ten Hag tweaked things quickly in the second half bringing on Jadon Sancho and Facundo Pellistri to replace Garnacho and Wout Weghorst. By then United was already two goals down after a rare Raphae Varane own goal. Those changes brought United more stability as they pulled the two goals back to draw the game.

Which best friends reunited?

Marcus Rashford took on Diogo Dalot's cross to pull one back for United before Jadon Sancho goat the equalizer minutes later to draw them level at 2-2. The pair were crucial in United's comeback ambition but had to settle for a point in the end. This is the first Marcus Rashford and Sancho who are close friends off the pitch scored in the same game since their 2-1 win over Liverpool earlier in the season.
