The Premier League is set for a six-week break following last weekend's final round of matches before the league halted and the World Cup takes center stage for the next few weeks. Lots of Premier League stars are already arriving at their different national team camps ahead of the tournament.

United fans will also be gearing up for the tournament as they'll be watching how their players perform in Qatar while they countdown to league resumption in December. The Red Devils will quite delighted to have a bit of good news following recent events around the club.

A total of 14 first-team Manchester United players have been called up by their respective national teams to play their part in the quest for the ultimate glory in Qatar. United fall short behind local rivals on the list of Premier League club sides with the most players at the Qatar World Cup.

Man City has 16 call-ups, while United comes second with 14 as Chelsea has 12, Tottenham has 11, and Arsenal has 10, which makes the top five list. Leicester and Liverpool both got seven calls ups with the likes of Thiago and Roberto Firmino not making the squad for Spain and Brazil.

 WHAT SHOULD FANS EXPECT AT THE WORLD CUP?

The illustrious football tournament which occurs once every four years is set to have its first-ever winter World Cup as against the typical summer setup. The World Cup comes right in the build-up of the season, as club football is suspended in all top European leagues, but fans will get still get to enjoy quality football at the tournament, with many stars set to be born once again.
