Manchester United is eyeing at least one major title in this campaign to mark the beginning of a new phase in their history under Erik Ten Hag as their manager. The club is quite enthusiastic about their changes as the season has progressed so far.

The Red Devils are currently still in all their available competition at this stage of the season and are hoping to go as far as possible in each tournament to bring home a title this season after their fresh start with new players and their manager.

Manchester United last won a title during the Jose Mourinho era at the club, where they won the UEFA Europa League, EFL Cup, and the Community Shield in one fell swoop. The team went on to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

But since Mourinho's exit, the club has struggled to reach such title-winning heights despite their managerial change. In a bid to return back to their glorious days, Manchester United signed Erik Ten Hag from his trophy-laden time at Ajax to come and replicate such success at United.

Former Manchester United player, Ander Herrera believes with the new manager, the club can certainly achieve success. Herrera added that he believes this is the year United will win another trophy since 2017 and is optimistic about the club's chances with such a great manager in charge and the players they have now. He also backed United to beat Barcelona in the next round of the Europa League tie.
