Manchester United continues their quest to improve their squad under their new manager Erik Ten Hag, after last summer's investments that are yielding positive results both on and off the pitch. The new additions have also helped lay the ground for their manager.

Earlier in the summer, manchester United decided to bring in a left-footed center-back that had the ability to sniff out opposition attacks before they materialize and confirmed the signing of former ten Hag player, Lisandro Martinez.

With United's major focus on the future, the Red Devils are very much interested in acquiring fresh and exciting talents, to help Ten Hag build and make a dominant team for the future. The quest for talent has brought United in contact with a budding talent at the World Cup.

RB Leipzig and Croatia international Josko Gvardiol is on United's shopping list as they contemplate a bid for the 20-year-old centreback, who has been a regular starter for his national team so far at the World Cup in Qatar.

WHAT IS THE LATEST ABOUT JOSKO?

The 20-year-old hugely built center-back has played in all World Cup games for Croatia and has had a decent run at the Mundial so far. He's currently playing Third place for Croatia against Morocco where he opens the scoring with a fine header. He will be looking to bow out of the Mundial with a third-spot finish.
