As we league season continues, clubs are now counting down to the transfer frenzy that happens in the last few days and hours of the winter transfer market. Clubs are experiencing a domino effect with transfer targets in the final days of the market as they seek to strengthen their team for the remainder of the season.

Erik Ten Hag and Manchester United were very quick to identify the areas they required improvements and brought in new players. The exit of Ronaldo prompted the signing of Wout Weghorst even if he wasn't their number-on-target option.
