We are barely halfway into the season and Manchester United are already stamping their way to huge success with their current run in the Carabao Cup. The team has also passed the halfway mark with their league campaign and currently sits third on the league table.
Last season the Red Devils majorly relied on Cristiano Ronaldo for goals and match-winners as well which he delivered. The Portuguese captain scored 24 goals last season to help United's objectives but they failed to meet their targets, ending yet another poor campaign.
Great news for Manchester United as Ten Hag remains active
Southgate lashes out over Marcus Rashford's criticism
This season the club has moved the goal-scoring responsibilities away from Ronaldo after new manager Erik Ten Hag opted to rebuild United around Marcus Rashford. It was a decision that raised concerns early on but has not silenced all doubters.
Rashford is currently the most in-form striker in Europe since the club season resumed in late December ahead of stars Erling Haaland, Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappe, and more. He has 10 goals in the last 10 appearances with a seven games consecutive scoring run.
Despite the outstanding goals from Marcus Rashford, Manchester United fans have expressed growing concern about the input of other attacking players in the team. Erik Ten Hag's recently praised Manchester United's front line much to the displeasure of the club fans as they feel let down by the other attacking players like Antony, Martial, and Bruno except Marcus Rashford.
