The Red Devils have had a decent season so far with a fifth-place position on the Premier League table just days before the season restarts after long six weeks break of club action across Europe and other parts of the world.
The club ensured to get ample players in during the summer window to provide themselves with a variety of options to implement different playing strategies. Ten Hag teams are known to have ample player options for different positions.

The Dutchman has chosen to back Diogo Dalot as his undisputed right-back at the moment ahead of his position rival Aaron Wan-Bissaka who has been deemed surplus to requirement at the club and is on his way out in January.
Dalot has improved drastically after consistent starts at the club level and even featured at the World Cup with Portugal before due to his fine form. But he doesn't have a competition for his role which is about to change after United identified their new fullback interest.
Manchester United has been drawn to the Scottish Premier League for the right fullback interest. The Red Devils are reportedly ready to place a bid for JosipJuranovic of Celtic who was part of the Croatian team that won third place at the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
