Lack of opportunities will see this player try his luck away from Old Trafford

Manchester United's pre-season is over and we are now less than a week away from the start of our Premier League action against Wolverhampton. The squad appears to be complete, pending Erik ten Hag's official announcement, as there are still rumors of one more signing that could arrive in the next few weeks before the end of the summer transfer window.

This summer has been quite fruitful for our team in terms of signings, as Erik ten Hag has managed to secure the arrival of players that he considered key to face the new season, such as André Onana, Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund, but he has not been able to finalize the departures of other players that the Dutch tactician no longer wanted to have in the team.

But there are still a few weeks to go before the end of the transfer window and several things could happen between now and then. While it is true that the Red Devils' squad has been very well reinforced, Erik ten Hag's project aims to win everything or at least to compete for every title from this very season, since the amount of money that has been invested has been very high, despite the economic uncertainty that has been generated due to rumors about the sale of the club.

Now, with so many arrivals to the team, it seems that some young players no longer have a place in the first team and much less guaranteed playing minutes for next season and that is why, despite having performed well during United's preseason, they will have to try their luck away from Old Trafford if they want to have playing minutes this new season.

The jewel that will leave Old Trafford

We are talking about Facundo Pellistri, the 21-year-old Uruguayan who shone in the preseason with Manchester United and even closed his participation in the preparation matches by rescuing a draw for our club against Athletic with a last minute goal. According to the latest reports, Facundo could be about to leave United on loan to FC Twente of the Eredivisie, who would be very interested in having him for a year.
