Manchester United at the weekend keeps them in top form as they head into their next league game when they welcome their Elland Road visitors in midweek. A 2-1 win against the buoyant Crystal Palace at home in a fiercely contested game was well-earned for the Red Devils fans.

The Red Devils have won three of their last five Premier League matches with a draw and a loss as well. United comfortably beat Bournemouth at Old Trafford and followed it up with a comeback victory against their local rivals Manchester City, with Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford turning things around.

However, their expected victory at Selhurst Park during the closing minutes of the game was halted as Crystal Palace snatched a late equalizer with a direct freekick from a Lisandro Martinez foul. It was a devastating blow to their unexpected title charge.

The draw was followed by a defeat on their visit to North London against Arsenal in a goalscoring field fixture. Rashford and Lisandro Martinez were on the scoresheet for United but couldn't stop the league leaders as they grabbed a late winner in the game from a lapse in concentration.

The Red Devils will be welcoming Leeds United to Old Trafford on Wednesday. United recently won their 13th game at home against Palace and will be in the best of mood to face Leeds United just sacked Jesse Marsh earlier today following their poor run of form in recent weeks. Ten Hag will be hoping to outclass Leeds United's caretaker manager in the coming game.
