Manchester United fans are well aware that the club is in search of an attacker to join the club in the coming window as they seek to compete for all the available trophies in this campaign. The team's recent dismal of another attacker further triggered the urgency.

Before that, the Portuguese had found it hard to find the back of the next with Rashford leading United's charge with Erik Ten Hag's blessing as his number nine, which to Ronaldo's displeasure as he was limited to very few playing changes.
His exit has placed further urgency on United's need for an attacker with LOSC Lille striker Jonathan David reportedly being considered by the club. Jonathan David has been one of Europe's exciting talents to watch in the last two years.
Although the club is yet to table any offer for the Canadian international is expected that the cub could make a move soon rather than later as they would like to wrap up any negotiation to avoid any bidding war of competition for their target. David is currently with the Canada team in Qatar to compete for the title.
