The Red Devils' breakout star of the campaign is set to start the club's most important game.

One key trait of Erik Ten Hag's managerial cv is the fact that he loves to play youngsters in his team since his days at Ajax and is gradually replicating the same philosophy at Manchester United with the current squad.

Ten Hag during his first presser at the cub had previously stated that he would be very open to giving the youngsters at the club more opportunities in this campaign should they merit it and expects that they give it their best every time.

The club has been able to edge out results this season despite their misfiring attackers, who heavily relied on the efforts of Marcus Rashford to salvage points or snatch tight winners for the club. The situation triggered Ten Hag's action.

The Dutchman wasted no time in bringing in highly-rated youngster Alejandro Garnacho, to experience first-team football which he hoped would always be a great learning curve for the teenager who has performed well so far.

According to reports, Alejandro Garnacho is set to start today's game against Burnley in the EFL Cup.
