Manchester United could see one of their main targets go to Arsenal for the next season, and in order to avoid that they would need to act fast in this transfer window.

Manchester United and Erik ten Hag are still looking for players to sign now that the deal from Mason Mount is done, but the fact is that the manager believes he still needs at least two more midfielders that could reinforce the team for the next season, and they would need to act fast if they want to steal this player from the Arsenal team.

Romeo Lavia is one of the most wanted midfielders in the Premier League, the belgian midfielder currently plays at Southampton and now that his team got relegated in this past season he could be looking to arrive to another team, and while Manchester United seems him as one of their main targets, the Gunners also see him as an option.

The fact is that Arsenal is prepparing their first offer that could be around the 43 million euros mark, to make sure that Romeo Lavia arrives to their team, and now it seems that Manchester United could be ready to send a counter offer to make sure that the 19 year old midfielder becomes the present and eventually the future of the team.

Romeo Lavia deal

The fact is that Southampton has communicated to their players that they won't get in the way if they want to leave the team, and that means that Romeo Lavia could actually leave the team for a transfer fee around the 45 million euros area, and the fact that he could take over the Casemiro position is one of the main reasons why Ten Hag could be looking to steal him from Arsenal in the next days.
