Manchester United continue to make moves during pre-season, the club is two weeks away from the start of the Premier League and they still do not have the striker they have been looking for during the summer; many rumours have come out about the players who would arrive as reinforcements, but now the coach would have an option.

Rasmus Hojlund is the striker with whom the club has had the closest approach, although at first he was not one of the first options to strengthen the striker, United had to opt for the Danish striker who fits the team's budget and who has also been showing much interest in coming to Old Trafford, for that reason the Red Devils have made official the first offer for the player.

Although the previous weeks Erik Ten Hag still did not have very well defined who could be his preferred striker, it is now known that the club would go for Hojlund, because after several conversations with the player United could offer 50 million pounds in total to start negotiations, this possible signing would bring some changes within the club, which could make easier the arrival of the player.

As always Ten Hag is thinking about how he can improve the club, for that reason he is thinking about changing the strategy in the offensive part, this with the intention of looking for a better adaptation for the Dane, because the season is getting closer and closer and he will have to adapt to the system of play that the coach is looking for in order for his signing to have the expected results.

Marcus Rashford's new role

The English striker was one of the best players during last season, in statistical terms he had one of the best campaigns of his career, however, Erik Ten Hag considers that he needs a support in attack, so the arrival of the Danish striker would open a new role for Rashford, which would be to play as a centre forward during some matches, although the British has mentioned that he feels more comfortable playing as a winger; this change would be given to Rasmus Hojlund to have a comfortable adaptation to English football.
