Wout Weghorst got the nod to lead the attack once against after his class performance on the first leg with a goal as well. Weghorst had a clear moment in the first half to put United ahead but his efforts hit the woodwork.

He was subsequently subbed off in the second half as Erik Ten Hag was determined to get another Old Trafford win under his belt. Weghorst was replaced by Anthony Martial amongst a few other changes made by the Red Devils' manager.

How did Martial perform?

The French striker couldn't wait to find the back of the net, which he did shortly after being subbed on. Anthony Martial pounced on a deflected Marcus Rashford effort to smash home United's first goal on the night. Though it was a brief cameo, Anthony Martial looked dangerous every time he was with the ball, which was something Weghorst couldn't do.
