The red devils former keeper is still with out a team, and the fact is that now he could be looking to make a deal happen in the next part of the season right now.

Manchester United fans are concerned about the real reason why David de Gea is still with out a team, but the fact is that one of the main reasons is that the former keeper of the red devils is now looking to get a similar salary that he had with the team, and now it seems that he might finally be close to get that in the next few months.

"Yeah, I would. I think Newcastle need a goalkeeper and De Gea is out there. I know the salary would be huge but they wouldn’t have to pay a fee for him." Alan Shearer stated when he was asked if he believed that the spanish keeper would be a good option for the Newcastle team for the next part of the season to be the starter now.

Shearer added, "I've seen a lot of media headlines regarding goalkeepers and other players. We have not made any enquiries. If we were to recruit now we'd be recruiting in every area on the pitch. It's a chance for the other keepers to consolidate their positions." and this could secure the arrival of the former red devils to the Newcastle team now.

Sources close to David de Gea have confirmed that while he is happy with the time off that he has had in the past six months, the fact is that now he could be looking to go ahead and arrive to a new team, and with the approval of Shearer, it seems that going back to the Premier League might be the perfect offer for him.

David de Gea salary

Most of the sources have confirmed that right now the Newcastle team would be reday to go ahead and offer at least 200,000 euros per week to David de Gea to make sure that he arrives and becomes the starter to cover for Nick Pope now.
