Not Henderson, the United goalkeeper who is set to leave United after missing pre-season

Manchester United have been letting go of some players who are no longer part of their plans for the next campaign, in the case of goalkeepers the club has many players in the position, so several have to leave the club to make room for the new signings that the manager plans to make before the transfer window closes, so the sale of players has become one of the main tasks.

Since André Onana's arrival at the club during the week when the team was in New York for their first match of the US tour, many knew that Erik Ten Hag would immediately make the Cameroonian his first choice goalkeeper, as he was one of the signings he had been waiting for due to their time together with Ajax. 

Thus, Onana would quickly take over the goal, so the situation for the other goalkeepers looks quite complicated, because in addition to the Cameroonian, the coach would plan to hire another player to serve as a substitute so that in games that are not so important he can give rest to his starter, which further complicates the stay at the club for the other keepers who are looking for an opportunity. 

The first to be named to leave was Dean Henderson, as Nottingham Forest have been in talks with the player, but without being able to reach an agreement yet, even so, the coach thinks it is only a matter of time before a negotiation can be reached and the Briton manages to leave the club, however, there would be another player who, not seeing much participation in the preseason, would leave United.

The English goalkeeper was transferred this afternoon to Sunderland after only three seasons with Manchester United, however, not being able to see much action both in the preseason and in the season during his stay at the club, Ten Hag decided to transfer him for an undisclosed price, but who signs a three-year contract with the second division team.
