One year for the end of his contract, Fred had to say about his future at United

Manchester United are looking to clean the team and keep the player that have shown what they are capable off.

One of the players that is yet to decide his future is Fred, the 30 year old player does not know what the future holds for him and he is willing to wait a little bit to decide what is he going to do, and that is despite the fact the he only has one year left on his contract, that is ending in the summer of 2024, so he could start thinking about that.

The main issue with the future of Fred is the fact that he knows that he is a 30 year old player, and on top of that he is going to have less minutes on the pitch, but he has said that he would like to stay at Manchester United, but now he decided to give a more concrete answer to the media and of course to the fans as well.

When asked about his future, Fred decided to say the following, “I still do not know, I have to talk with my family, I still have one year left in my contract here. Now it is holiday's timme and a good opportunity to rest. I will talk to my staff, to the club and then see what is everyone's decision”

It has not been made clear what the future is going to be, but sources close to Manchester United confirmed that they have already received a first offer for the player, it is an offer from Newcastle and the amount is around the 25 million area, and those same sources confirmed that they will be more than willing to accept an offer of that kind to let go of the brazilian midfielder.
