Kylian Mbappé has surprised the world once again in the transfer market. A few days ago, journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that the French striker had told the Paris Saint-Germain board that he has no intention of renewing his contract with the team beyond 2024, news that delighted Manchester United fans who are already dreaming of his possible arrival.

For their part, the PSG board would be very upset with Mbappé's announcement and would have assured the Russia 2018 World Cup winner that, if he does not sign his contract extension until 2025, they would sell him this summer, as everything seems to indicate that they are not willing to lose him for free in a year, which is why several teams in Europe are already preparing offers to take him.

However, it will not be easy to convince the Parisian board to sell their best player and everything indicates that the initial price to start a possible negotiation would be at least 200 million euros, an amount for which they did not want to sell him last season when Real Madrid tried to sign him. In that sense, Manchester United and its current budgetary uncertainty could be a major impediment to enter the fray.

But anything can happen, given that Mbappé's departure seems imminent. The latest sign of this is that PSG changed the image to be used by the club in its pre-season tour of Japan, in which Mbappé initially appeared in the center and now he is no longer seen, which has fueled rumors of his departure from the team.

Sheikh Jassim would be the key to signing Mbappé.

If Manchester United fans have any hope of signing Kylian Mbappé, it goes through the possibility that it is Sheikh Jassim who finally becomes the owner of the team, because if that happens the team could have the financial resources to dream of the arrival of the French star at Old Trafford.
