There is a Premier League team ready to hijack the deal for Scott McTominay in the next few hours.

The fact is that now there could be another team interested in making a move for Scott McTominay in this transfer window, and the deal could actually be worth what the red devils are expecting.

Erik ten Hag seems to be in the middle of the situation with Scott McTominay, the manager has confirmed that he would be happy if the player stays with Manchester United for the next season, but on the other hand he could also see a lot of value of letting the midfielder go, in fact he could be the more important deal of the season for the red devils.

And while it seems that West Ham was the main team interested in making the deal happen, the fact that the Hammers are offering way lower than what the Manchester United team values Scott McTominay to be worth, now there could be another team in the Premier League that is getting ready to pay exactly what the red devils are expecting to get for the player.

“Sky Sports” has now reported that the Newcastle United team is the other team that could be ready to send in an offer for Scott McTominay in this transfer window, and now the same source has actually reported that the Newcastle team is ready to just straight up pay what the red devils believe should be the value of the midfielder and just make the deal happen.

Scott McTominay value

The fact is that while Manchester United are ready to make the move that would Scott McTominay away, the team is actually expecting to get those 45 million euros to let the player go, and while West Ham are also considering making the move for the player, Newscastle seem close to also making the right offer in the next hours.
