Erik Ten Hag's men had to call their season to a halt early last month for the commencement of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, which last about six weeks, giving the club ample time to analyze their progress so far and strategy for the second phase of their season.

Yesterday Manchester United played their first competitive game since the game against Fulham last month on their home ground.
