The next stage of the Europa League knockout stage kicks off today as Manchester United returns to Europe on the back of the Premier League loss at the weekend. Last time out in Europe, the Red Devils secure a huge comeback victory setup with Real Betis tonight.
Marcus Rashford was a big player in the last round of the Europa League as he constantly remained a thorn in Barcelona's defense during their meeting at Old Trafford, though it was 90 million summer signing, Antony Santos that stole the headline with the winning goal in the second leg.
The Englishman was sadly unable to stop Manchester United from their humiliating defeat to Liverpool on Sunday and looks very excited about the coming game later tonight, as he faces a former rival manager Manuel Pellegrini, who coached Manchester City before Pep Guardiola took over in 2014.
Rashford said that 'for me, whenever we do lose a game, you just want to be back out on the pitch as quickly as possible.' The England striker is looking forward to breaking his count three games goal drought and getting United back to winning ways later tonight.
Speaking further about tonight game's Rashford said 'We have to be grateful that we get the opportunity to redeem ourselves and we have to try and take it with both hands.' The Red Devils manager, Erik Ten Hag will be looking forward to seeing his players' response to the last defeat later tonight.
