It has been a buzzing night at Old Trafford as Manchester United takes on Reading in their latest FA Cup encounter. The stadium is filled as expected with both home and away fans showing their delight for the ongoing games. The teams have lived up to the billing of the game so far.
The Red Devils manager named a very strong lineup with a much-changed backline, which sees the return of club captain Harry Maguire alongside Victor Lindelof and Tyrell Malacia. Wan-Bissaka faces no competition at right-back following Diogo Dalot.

Manchester United totally dominated the first half as expected with over eighty percent ball possession with their most potent attacking setup of Rashford, Bruno Fernandes, Antony, and Wout Weghorst leading the line.
Rashford put the ball into the back of the net but the goal was eventually ruled out for offside after a VAR check. The England striker nodded a ball onto the goal line and the Reading keeper reacted quickly to pick it up the ball before VAR ruled it out.
Rashford found himself with enough space to nod the ball into the net but his celebrations were cost short when VAR ruled off the goal for an offside in the build-up to the goal. Rashford was close to setting the record of the first player to score in 10 consecutive home games at Old Trafford for the Red Devils. Erik Ten Hag initially celebrated the goal but had a collapsed look on his face after VAR ruled out the goal. United will be looking to get a goal in the second half.
