At the start of the season, Erik Ten Hag declared that he was at Manchester United to win trophies. It was a declaration that excited United fans following Erik Ten Hag's trophy-laden time with Ajax in the Eredivisie, where he won more than four trophies with the Dutch giant club.

With over six months into his first season at Manchester United, the Red Devils booked their spot in the Carabao Cup final which is less than a fortnight away. It will be Manchester United's first final since 2017 when they won the treble under Jose Mourinho.

The Red Devils beat all their opponents on the way to the final in what has been a very exciting season for Manchester United. The Red Devils beat Aston Villa, Burnley, Charlton Athletic, and Nottingham Forest in the double-legged semi-final to get a place against Newcastle at Wembley.

Ahead of the Cup final, Newcastle United has now lost their starting goalkeeper, Nick Pope following his straight red card against Liverpool last night in the Premier League. The goalie is now suspended for the next three English games after he handled the ball with his hands outside his penalty box.

Who will keep Newcastle against United?

Alongside Nick Pope, Martin Dubravka will be unavailable for the Magpies in the final due to being cup tie with Manchester United. Newcastle United will turn to their third-choice goalie Loris Karius, who is famous for the Champions League goalkeeping blunder against Real Madrid in the final while playing for Liverpool.
