Ronaldo and former teammate stirs reaction ahead of huge fixture

Cristiano Ronaldo made a joyous return to Manchester United last season despite huge interest from local rivals Manchester City in signing him. He mentioned that the decision was made after Sir Alex Ferguson talked him out of a City move.

The Portuguese got a rosy reception on his return to Old Trafford and delivered for the club every time it mattered most with 24 goals last season, winning the player of the season award on his return to the club since he left in 2009.
