It's no longer news that Manchester United and Cristiano Ronaldo have decided to end their relationship after they mutually agree to contract termination with no financial compensation from the club as they broke off cleanly.

The development was United official's reactions to Ronaldo's media interview that caused havoc within and outside the club after he made some heavy accusations as well as remarks about the club's affairs that put their image in jeopardy.

Never doubt him again as United star sends clear messages to fans

Many believed that Ronaldo had thought out all the possible scenarios that could unfold after his two-part interview with Piers Morgan of the TalkUncensored show was conducted and aired just hours after United closed out the first half of the season on a high note.

The now-former Manchester United star has moved on with a sole focus on his new target at the moment, as he desires to help Portugal go as far as possible at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, which is currently his fifth time at a  World Cup competition. He has looked entirely different from his United self this season with his Portuguese national team as they navigate their group.

WHAT DID RONALDO SAY TO THE FANS?

While Ronaldo has thanked United's fans for their support following his exit the Portuguese star has continued to cheer on his national team fans around the world as they work their way to the World Cup round of 16. Ronaldo shared an appreciation message to their fans yesterday after they beat Uruguay 2-0 to seal their qualification to the next stage.
