Aside from the undisputed, David De Gea whose name is permanently attached to the starting lineup squad, Marcus Rashford will undoubtedly be leading Manchester United's charge at Crystal Palace later on tonight as they continue their top form.
For a player that was close to an exit in the summer, Marcus Rashford looks so distant from his less impressive self from last season when he struggled with goals, scoring just five times in over 25 appearances all season. Even the fans gave him an earful.
He rejected Manchester United but Ten Hag is sweet talking him
The best news for Manchester United and Erik Ten Hag has been received
But pivotal came when Manchester United appointed Erik Ten Hag as their new manager in the summer. The Dutch manager swiftly pushed for Rashford to stay and become the most important player on the new Manchester United project while they bring in more quality players to make things better.
The England International obliged and hasn't looked back since then with 15 goals and several assists to his name. His rise to form has also become a catalyst for the improvement of his teammates as their season progresses.
Marcus Rashford is now level with Cristiano Ronaldo on consecutive goals scored for Manchester United in row which is seven. The Red Devils star will be looking to get one over his former attacking rival by scoring against Palace today, which would erase Ronaldo's previous record. Cristiano Ronaldo is currently gearing up to face Lionel Messi's PSG in a special friendly tomorrow which will be his first game since the World Cup.
