Manchester United fans wake up this morning knowing that they have gotten a well-deserved result for their team's game last in the Carabao Cup semifinal game against Nottingham Forest. The Red Devils extended their first-leg advantage with a win last night to move into the final.

With a 3-0 lead from the first leg away from home a week ago, the Red Devils decided to exert more assurances in the second league as they scored two goals to seal their qualifications for the next and final round of the Carabao Cup competition where they'll face Newcastle United.

The Red Devils had a decent first half despite not taking their chances early on. The team grew into the game more with Fred and Casemiro orchestrating things from the midfield. Garnacho got the starting spot alongside Bruno Fernandes and Antony, with pressing forward, Wout Weghorst leading the attack.

Things switched up in the second half when Marcus Rashford was brought in to inspire a win. The England striker did just that as United scored two quick goals to get a 2-0 victory on the night. Marcus Rashford provided the assist for Anthony Martial and Fred's goals on the night. The result sends them to the final.

What about Ronaldo's setback?

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo and his new team Al Nassr, on the other have been knocked out of the Saudi Super Cup recently with a 3-1 defeat. Ronaldo even failed to score in the game and is still yet to score his official goal for Al Nassr in any of their competitive fixtures.
