Last week, Manchester United finally announced their much-anticipated action against Cristiano Ronaldo following his media interview that caused a lot of chaos within and outside the club as fans were left in disbelief of his actions.
The club in their official statement stated that they had decided to mutually terminate Cristiano Ronaldo's contract with the club without pay. The decision was heavily influenced by his outburst about the club's leadership and his media bashing of manager Erik Ten Hag.
They might have lost but United fans love his performance
United fans rejoice as he returns with a bang on debut
Ronaldo on his part penned a clear farewell message to United fans and thank them for all their love as he looks into his future. His camo has reiterated his stance to find his new club after his current exploits with Portugal in Qatar.
Nonetheless, his exit from United has created a clear path for several clubs to approach the 37-year-old striker with offers and projects. There reportedly a host of clubs eyeing a move for Ronaldo from around Europe and beyond just like he confirmed that there was interest last season but he chose United.
In a move that had many talking on social media, it has been officially confirmed that one club has edged others in the bid to get Ronaldo's signature with a reported 225 million euros on the table. Saudi Club Al Nasr is desperately hoping to convince the Portuguese captain to join them which would have an astronomical impact on football culture in Saudi and the middle east as a whole.
