The Portuguese star recently had his contract terminated by the club after his actions that put the club in jeopardy following his media interview that many believe was orchestrated to force his exit from Manchester United.
The contract was terminated while Ronaldo is on international duty with Portugal at the World Cup in Qatar. The Portuguese captain alongside Manchester United realized a statement about the situation as he focuses entirely on his World Cup activities.
The Portuguese team recently shrugged off new false rumors about their camp and is currently in action against Morocco in the quarterfinals of the World Cup. Ronaldo is not in the starting lineup for this game and will be hoping he can make an impact in the second half to change Portugal's current fate as they are losing to the African side 1-0.
