Manchester United suffered a series of shockwaves about two weeks ago when an internal crisis set the club on a media roast for days as fans and pundits took turns curating conversations about the incidents to the detriment of the club's image.

Club legend Cristiano Ronaldo had his two-part media interview teased on social media just hours after United snatch a late win at Craven Cottage against a compact Fulham team to cement their fifth position on the Premier League table.

The interview was released much later and caused as much damage as predicted when the initial teaser was dropped as the club legend bared out some shocking revelations about his time with the club and the speculations surrounding him amongst other things.

United took action by mutually terminating Ronaldo's contract afterward and moving up their timeline t since a replacement for him which had also coincided with their lack of finishing so far this season that resulted in a lot of near wins.

WHO IS UNITED'S TARGET AND WHAT IS HIS INTEREST IN THE MOVE?

Erik Ten Hag was reported to have quickly recommended his fellow Dutchman, Cody Gakpo to the club for a winter move to give him more attacking and creative options. Gakpo who has been in great form this season stated in a recent media interview that he currently not thinking about his future but rather focused on the ongoing World Cup where he's leading the Netherlands' charge to the title. He added that after becoming a World Champion, he would then be able to focus on other things.
