Earlier today Manchester United announced the signing of Marcel Sabitzer from Bayern Munich on a straight loan till the end of the season. Sabitzer signing was the Red Devils' ace activity on deadline day as they rapidly negotiated it over the line.
The box-to-box midfielder was having a tough season with the Bavarian giants as he had limited playing opportunities which prompted his decision to seek a move. Fortunately, Manchester United was on the lookout for a deadline-day signing to boost their squad depth and quality.

Erik Ten Hag has declared a conclusion to United's transfer plans after the signing of Wout Weghorst and Jack Butland but an unexpected injury to key player Christian Eriksen forced United into action on deadline day. The club explored several options before completing the Sabitzer deal.
The 28-year-old Austrian midfielder played for RB Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga before more to their franchise club RB Leipzig in Germany. He joined Bayern in 2020 and hasn't been able to break into their starting lineup prompting his move to Manchester.
During his announcement as Manchester United's newest signing, Sabitzer stated that part of his core personality is being a bad loser and he loves to win every time even in training. Sabitzer is reportedly not one to back down from having a voice in the dressing room to demand more from his teammates.
