Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has been in a run of bad form under Erik Ten Hag despite getting more playing time than Cristiano Ronaldo so far this season. Sancho has been a consistent starter since Erik Ten hag became United's manager but his performance has made many fans questions Ten Hag's decision to regularly start the out of form winger.

Sancho recently started against FC Sheriff in the Europa league matchday five and failed to deliver either a goal nor an assist as United won comfortably at home. The Englishman has come under heavy criticism for failing to deliver on the potentials and quality that made Manchester United chase after him for two seasons in a row before his eventual transfer from Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

Not all about signing players, Erik ten Hag has this commitment to the board

Many expected goals, assist and consistency from the highly rated winger but that has not been the case since his 2021 summer move. He was regular starter under both Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick, but has found it had to deliver on a regular basis as fans demand from the regular national team player.

So far, Sancho has scored just three goals this season; two in the Premier League and one in Europa despite playing 14 matches across all competitions this season. The dip in form from the winger has raised further eyebrows, including that of his manager who might be considering tweaking his favoured front attack to suit the coming match against West Ham at Old Trafford.

WILL SANCHO FIND HIS FINISHING BOOTS AGAIN?

Despite his poor form, not many are willing to rule him out just yet as they strongly believe that Ten Hag will surely be able to help the 22 year old find his form again. The next goal for Sancho will be a huge boost to his confidence and form.
