It is a fact that the red devils suffered a really unexpected lose in their last Premier League game, and now Schmeichel points out to the “heroes” of the team for being part of the problem.

Despite having some really good 20 minutes in the first half of the match, the Brighton team scored first, and it seems that this changed the whole game for the red devils, that after that where unable to go back to their system of those first minuted of the game, and that it would eventually become a new defeat for the red devils in the Premier League.

One of the players that have been pointed out in the defeat has been Lisandro Martinez, the argentinian center back is called to be one of the best players for the team, but he was unable to have any real impact with the team, and that has caused for the former keeper of Manchester United to call him out for his poor performance.

“It is kind of what happens at Manchester United at the minute, it is very individual,” where the initial statements of Schmeichel, a former player of the team that believes that while Erik ten Hag work at the team has been notable, it is far from what is expected for the Manchester United in the Premier League.

“Players, for instance, Martinez here, are trying to be a hero and get in and block. People know this. If we look at him there, he puts himself in a position directly in line of the goalkeeper. He should be closing down rather of just stood up trying to block. If you want to block, don’t turn your body, stand tall. Clearly things aren’t right for Manchester United.”

Individual players

It seems that one of the many problems that Manchester United currently has is the fact that they have a lot of players that are playing for themselves, players like Martinez or Rashford that take decisions that would benefit themselves instead of the team, and that causes for bad plays that lead to missed chances as well.
