One of the things that define Manchester United and a football team in general are their fans. A team wouldn't be anything without the people who support them day after day. Nowadays, football is a business, and sometimes the main focus isn't just on the sport. Having a huge team which is well known worldwide adds more pressure than usual. We are talking about an amount of pressure that seems unimaginable. Furthermore, explanations need to reach fans worldwide, not just to the ones in the UK.

On the other hand, every player joining Manchester United represents an area of improvement and opportunity. As well as a feeling of hope for higher challenges and achievements in every single competition. However, it is well-known that certain squad positions need improvement, like the midfield. In order to benefit both business and fans, buying world class players is a good strategy. In some ways, it is similar in how leagues like MLS and the Saudi League determined their business model. Clearly having better players on your squad can lead you to more earnings.

However, a majority of Manchester United fans are not happy with the current ownership of the club. This discontent has led to numerous protests over the years.

The current owners of the Red Devils are the Glazer Family, who have owned the team since 2005. However, the team has been up for sale since last year, and it's expected to be sold for £7.3 billion. Currently, two potential buyers are interested in taking over the team: Sheikh Hassim and the English billionaire Jim Ratcliffe.

After the sale, could be more elite players be on their way to Old Trafford?

One of the most common complaints during the Glazer administration was their debts since taking over almost 18 years ago. For this reason, the team under a new ownership, its likely to bring along better players.
