Mbappe has reportedly told PSG that he will not renew beyond 2024

Kylian Mbappe will once again star in the story of the summer, as the 24-year-old French star has reportedly told the Paris Saint-Germain board that he has no intention of signing a contract extension clause until 2025, which would leave him free next year. PSG would be very upset and would have taken the decision to sell him this transfer window in order to get something in exchange for his departure.

It was expected that the first name that came to mind when hearing the news was that of Real Madrid, as it has been the team most interested in signing Mbappe in recent years, however there are several factors that can excite Manchester United fans with a possible arrival of Mbappe at Old Trafford.

The first is that renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano posted a tweet in which he hinted that while Mbappe is not in the club's immediate plans, everything could change with the arrival of Sheikh Jassim Al Thani, if he eventually becomes the club's new owner. “With the Glazers, Manchester United signing Mbappe is not even a topic. but let's see what happens in case they have new owners”.

Now, one of the most prestigious newspapers in the world has ignited the flame of the fans at Old Trafford, who are slowly beginning to dream of the arrival of one of the best players in the world, although everything will depend on the Glazer family's decision on who will be the new owner of the team.

According to the newspaper El Pais, people linked to the Qatari owners of PSG would have told Kylian Mbappe that they were studying a possible transfer to Manchester United as long as he agreed and that Sheikh Jassim was the new owner of the team. According to this same source of El Pais, Mbappe would not have committed to anything, but the idea seemed "interesting" to him.
