Manchester United are ready to receive their new owner, and the latest actions of the Sheikh Jassim could have given out some clues on who is it going to be.

Sheikh Jassim Al Thani presented an offer that reportedly was to good to be true, but in that offer he also decided to include some terms that could put on some pressure to the Glazers to take a decision, and as since last Friday, the Sheikh was not going to engage in any more negotations, and it seems that the strategy worked.

One of the latest news regarding the sale of Manchester United was the fact that both lawyers for Sheikh Jassim and for Sir Jim Ratcliffe are finalising deal details with the group representing the Glazers, Raine Group, and everything points out the fact that there could be an announcement this very week regarding the owner of the team.

As this news came out it was reported that some of the lawyers of the Sheikh Jassim have been working a little bit of extra time in order to make sure that everything is ready if the decision favours the Sheikh, and that has let fans especulate that he could actually be ahead in the race of winning the ownership of Manchester United for the next season.

Glazer brothers

There is going to be a conference call between all of the six of the Glazers brothers, in that meeting they would confirm who they prefer to be the new owner of Manchester United, and some sources close to them have confirmed that at least 4 out of the 6 members of the family have showed their intentions to complete a full sale of the team, meaning that they are putting Qatar and the Sheikh Jassim as the new favourite bidders.
