Manchester United is reportedly back in for Spanish number nine after enquiries in the summer.

Manchester United continues to explore different options that can improve their squad in the coming months as they compete on all fronts under Erik Ten Hag after a decent run in during their first half of the season. The Dutchman has been impressed with the work done so far by his squad.

The Red Devils are very keen on bringing in an attacker this coming winter transfer window and are exploring different options for both long and short-term solutions in a bid to continue to remain competitive as the season progresses to the second phase.

Cristiano Ronaldo's exit from the club last month moved United's plans to bring in a new attacker to the top of the list as they are currently strained on available options to use and rotate as the case may be under Erik Ten Hag.

The Red Devils have a growing list of options that are under serious consideration and looking for the best player that fit them and the opportunity to do a deal for their signature as soon as possible. Erik  Ten Hag previously confirmed that they are very much working on a new attacking addition.

WHO IS THE NEW PLAYER ON UNITED'S RADAR?

According to the reports, Manchester United is closing in on Atletico Madrid's Alvaro Morata to make the switch to Old Trafford. The Spaniard has been previously linked with a move to United years ago but ended up with rival club Chelsea.  The Red Devils have reportedly made enquiries about the Spanish number in the summer and have decided to reignite their interest.
