The fact is that Erik ten Hag could be ready to say goodbye to Scott McTominay, now that the true reason why he wants to leave have been brought out to the manager.
Erik ten Hag is ready to sell several players, and now that the days have passed it seems that he wanted to keep some other players, that was the case of Scott McTominay, at first the idea was to let him leave the team in this transfer window, and that all changed in the preseason tour where he showed what he is capable of doing on the pitch.
And if we add up to the injury of Kobbie Mainoo it seemed reasonable to keep Scott McTominay in the team for the next season, but as a surprise to everyone now it seems that the player himself is the one pushing for the deal to happen in this transfer window, and while the player would love to stay, the reason is more than enough for him to leave.
The fact as it was reported by “Manchester United Evening News” is that Scott McTominay believes that if he makes the move to the West Ham team he could be seeing a lot of more playing time, in fact he believes that he could even become a starter for the Hammers, and he would put that role ahead of him staying with the red devils.
While the West Ham team is also highly interested in making the move for Scott McTominay in this transfer window, and they have even send in some offers, now it has been reported that they would need to offer at least 45 million euros if they want to sign, and now it seems that the Hammers would need to make that offer.
